Battery Health Monitor & Protector
The
battery manufacturer recommends the
charging voltage as 2.25V/cell in float
mode, 2.3V/cell in charge mode, and they
also recommend the depth of discharge
1.75V/cell, it means if a battery of 48V
goes below from specified voltage (42V),
it may be difficult to charge it again
easily. Therefore, the life of battery
decreases or battery may get damage.
This creates back up problem for the
equipments running on batteries.
So to overcome this kind of problems our
BHMP has been introduced, to give
battery dual protection against deep
discharging as a set whole & also to
monitor individual cell / mono block
status.
Operation
BHMP has its additional feature of
protection against deep discharging of
battery with all added qualities of
Battery Cell Observation Unit. It shows
individual cell/mono block status &
protects battery against a pre-stated
value of voltage called cut-off voltage,
which is adjustable & is 42V in
non-recommended condition. As battery
voltage reaches this, value its
protector cut. Works & disconnect
battery from load, to save battery from
deep discharge condition.
